Halimeda's Oasis - Traveling Boutique and Online Store

Who are we?
We created Halimeda's Oasis to bring quality items to the students of In Step Studio.  The inventory expanded to the current high quality collection of danceware, dance accessories and elegant costumes for Raqs Sharqi  and Polynesian dance. Besides costuming we also stock select instruments such as finger cymbals, Middle Eastern hand drums  (tabla or doumbeks), tambourines (riqs) and frame drums (tars,and bendirs).   The stock is ever changing and we only get time to put about 25% up on the web. We are happy to work with you and/or your group on custom orders.

Halimeda's Oasis loves to attend workshops throughout the Southeast U.S.  And we do "trunk shows" at studios or homes in the north Florida and South  Georgia area.  We'll bring lots of fun costuming for dancers and drums for musicians.

Please note!
 Our items are hand made in the U.S.A. Custom orders are dependant upon the availability and cost of fabric. We do our best to keep items in stock and to keep certain fabrics on hand. Our web site lists what we either have on hand or colors we can usually get. Sometimes the availability of the fabric and trim changes; these changes are beyond our capability to control.  Colors can vary slightly from one bolt of fabric (dye lot) to another so if you want to have exact matches for skirts, tops, pants, or veils, please order all at once.

Orders:
 There is no minimum order.  All custom work requires  50% down before start of work. We will keep you up to date on the progress of large projects. The order must be completely paid for before we ship.  We will hold a completed, custom order for 30 days after we notify you that it is finished. If not paid in full OR other arrangements made, the items go into stock and the deposit is retained by Halimeda's Oasis.


Prices and specification as listed are subject to change.  If you there are any price or specification changes, we will let you know immediately.

Consignments:
 We are not accepting consignments at this time.

Your privacy is important. In Step Studio and Halimeda's Oasis do not collect any financial information. Our credit card providers are etsy, Square and PayPal. Each has its own policy and we do not retain card information. We do retain addresses for shipping information; we rarely send snail mail general information. Halimeda's Oasis does retain email addresses from customers that chose to share theirs with us. We provide a news letter only to those that have asked and anyone can opt out at any time. Halimeda's Oasis/In Step Studio retain phone numbers for those customers that call for information; we only return calls when requested and do not do "cold" calls. Halimeda's Oasis/In Step Studio do not send text messages unless a question is asked and we only answer that question.
